Unfortunately any of the i-Series and probably most Korg Workstation
Keyboards withon-board SMF sequencers, only retain eight characters
embedded within the file.. This is so for any SMFs you save from the
internal SMF sequencer on your i-Series Workstation..

Again, you are permitted a little more characters about 10 I think and
this is retained in the .SNG file; if you save this out as an SMF then
your are given the first 8 characters only!
(Maybe the song feature could be upgraded to offer more characters in
i-Series SMF/SNG sequencer, one for the suggestions from this group?)
